What is a Secret Santa Group? Start a Group!
A Secret Santa group is a community of people who come together to exchange gifts. It is a great way for groups of people to share the spirit of giving without the responsibility of buying a gift for every person in the group. Instead, each member is assigned to buy a gift for one other member. Typically, there is a gift exchange party where everyone comes together to exchange their gifts and find out who their "Santa" is. But when people are separated by distance, the gifts can be mailed directly to each member by their Santa before a predetermined gift date.

The Process Start a Group!
Creating a Secret Santa™ Group is a quick and simple process. First, you name your group and set group options. These simple options include the deadline for joining the group and purchasing the gifts, as well as the suggested amount that each member should spend on their gift. Then you invite members by forwarding an email invitation to them, or by entering their email addresses online (and we'll send them an invitation directly). When your invitees receive their email, it will contain a special link which will take them directly to your group invitation page on our site where they have the option of joining the group. Invitees can join the group at any time until sign-up deadline. When the sign-up deadline arrives, our Match Wizard™ takes over and assigns each group member a Santa. Each member will then receive an email which notifies them of their match, and contains an URL that will take them to our site where they can learn which types of gifts their Santee would like. Members can use our site to find the gifts they want to purchase for their Santee online. If the group is going to have a gift exhange party, all the members bring the gifts they have purchased to the party to give to their Santees.
